“Premonitions,” Real or Coincidences?”

Are “premonitions” real or are they just a matter of coincidences where thoughts and things randomly come together and produce some sort of hallucinogenic result? Personally . . . I believe wholeheartedly that “premonitions” are as real as the sun that rises in the east. “Why” you ask? Good question, here’s my answer . . .

Just ask any “Intuitive” like myself if they believe in premonitions, and I’m sure you’ll have some incredible, unbelievable, stories told to you about how someones premonitions saved another persons life or predicted some sort of disaster. I can’t believe that these are just “random coincidences,” not at all. Look, I’m not trying to sell this off as being “fortune tellers,” if that were the case . . . I’d be a millionaire, and I am as far away from being a millionaire as anyone could be. I just think that certain people are more open to the Universe and the flow of energy that comes from source.

Of course, there are different types of premonitions that people experience and I guess it depends upon how open they are to other realities. For some reason, the two strongest premonitions I usually get are about death and . . . earthquakes. See, I told you I don’t have them about ways of becoming wealthy! Most of my premonitions suck out loud! You did read that right . . . freaking earthquakes! The death premonitions, well, they scare the living s**t out of me and I hate them with a passion. There is no rhyme or reason to why I get them, it’s not like I go around thinking about s**t like that all the time, they just happen. It’s the randomness and the sickening feeling I get that freaks me out the most.

The “death premonition” thing is not a gift, it’s a curse. It happened when my father died when I was eleven. I faked sick to stay home from school because the premonition was so, so, powerful that it was almost as though he had come to say goodbye to me before crossing over. Sure enough, the phone rang ten minutes later and it was the hospital informing my mother that my father had passed away. Talk about freaking out an eleven year old kid, huh?

It happened once when I was shaving as my wife and I were getting ready to go out for the evening. In the middle of shaving, I stopped, turned to her and said; Oh my God, my aunt Claire just died.” My wife knows that these episodes happen to me and even though it frightens her beyond words, she understands that when I say it . . . “I mean it!”  It couldn’t have been more than forty five minutes later when my phone rang and it was my cousin telling me that my aunt had died. What’s more bizarre is the fact that I hadn’t seen or spoken to this aunt in about twelve years.

I could go on, but it’s too depressing, so let’s move on to the other one . . . “Earthquakes!” These don’t freak me out as badly, but I’m sure one day I’ll have an “earthquake premonition”  that will have a direct impact on me and I’ll probably crap my pants! Why earthquakes? I have no idea, it’s totally mind boggling! We had a small earthquake up here in the north a few Octobers ago and two days before it happened, I told my wife that we were going to have an earthquake and I gave the date and time . . . it happened exactly as I said it would. One night as we were sleeping, I sat straight up in bed and yelled; “We’re going to have an earthquake!”  My wife jumped up, looked at me and cursed me for scaring her like that. The next thing you know, the windows start vibrating and their was a small, tiny shake.

You guessed it, we had a small tremor that was centered in Quebec and traveled down here. It’s also occurred with earthquakes in various parts of the world and nine out of ten times . . . “I’m right!”  With this being said, I have been having some smaller earthquake premonitions lately that are getting stronger as each one happens. I sincerely don’t know why, but the dates December 11 & 12 keep popping up and a map appears showing me Mexico and northern China. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but if the premonitions become super powerful, I’m going to stick my neck out there and say something. For now, well, it’s just something to keep in the back of your head.

So, “premonitions,” real or not? Do you have premonitions? What kind?
