Jim here, reporting from the North Shore of Massachusetts where celebrating “Halloween” is not only a holiday . . . it’s a way of life! We love “Halloween” around here and last night was another great success. The weather cooperated, giving us temperatures in the upper forties with clear skies and “Mother Nature” graced us with a carpet of fallen leaves to set the mood. Traffic was crazy around here for while, but we’ve gotten used to it. Hey, what do you expect when you live in the next city over from the famous “Salem Mass.” home of the “Witch Trials and executions.”
My grandchildren and my sisters grandchildren decided to do a “group” costume this year and it was a smash! Who doesn’t like “Cruella De Vil and the Dalmations?”
Of course my wife and I had to join in the fun (we had a party to go to) so keeping with the theme of children”s stories we decided to go as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big bad Wolf!
All in all, it was a great night out and when the kids come down from their “sugar rush” I’ll let you know!
Bring On the Turkey!
