Limerick Sunday . . . There once was a . . .

A renegade priest from Liberia

Whose morals were clearly inferior

Once did to a nun

What he shouldn’t have done

And now she’s a Mother Superior

A broken-down harlot named Tupps

Was heard to confess in her cups

“The height of my folly

Was diddling a collie-

But I got a nice price for the pups”

A young schizophrenic named Struther

When told of the death of his mother

Said; “yes it’s too bad

But I can’t feel too sad

After all, I still have each other.”
