There are four things I am incredibly passionate about in life in addition to my family and friends. Let’s see, there’s writing, spiritual/alternative healing (ie.Reiki, Shamballa, meditation) and . . . Music and Cooking! Yes, that includes eating too. Music and cooking compliment each other so well. Kind of like PB&J and Oreo’s and milk.
Music has been a part of who I am since the day I was born. My parents told me I was singing before I even learned to talk and when I started walking, well, it quickly turned into dancing. I LOVE MUSIC . . . It does something to my soul, my energy, my being. I can’t explain it, but I can listen to a piece of music and have tears in my eyes because something that goes way beyond me is experiencing and emotional connection to it.
Even when I walk through the woods, I can here the trees and nature playing a symphony of joyful music. I have a very eclectic taste in music and am not held prisoner to one genre. Country, Rock, Classical, Broadway, Techno, Top40, Easy Listening etc . . . Bring It On!
I also love to cook . . . and eat! I always enjoyed cooking. but it wasn’t until I became disabled (a different story) that I found out I had a real knack for it. It wasn’t just about reading a recipe out of a book or online, but it was also about creating my own recipes and style. Let’s face it . . . “If I’m Not Creating, I go bat-ass Crazy!” That goes for music and cooking.
So that is why I put together my new website called Music and Munchies at http://www.themusicalcookbook.com Please take a jog over and take a look. If you have any requests, let me know. Becoming suddenly disabled at such a young age has left me financially ruined so I am trying to build a progressive, fun, entertaining and educational website that will help me out financially when I monetize it. It’s not just about the money, I sincerely and truly am passionate about both modalities and even if I was flat broke . . . I’d still love both of them.
Did You Know . . . I have a song on iTunes? I’m not kidding, not for a minute. It’s a country Christmas song called; “Home By Christmas Night” If you go to iTunes and search either “James Sirois or Home By Christmas Night” it will show up and take you right to it. Go ahead, I promise you’ll LOVE it! I’d love to know what you think? Down below, I’m going to throw in some various music to start your motors. I hope to see Y’all at http://www.themusicalcookbook.com
